Welcome to the Health, Sports, and Fitness Blog
Welcome to my health, sports, and fitness blog where I plan to write about things that interest me regarding the aforementioned topics. I appreciate any comments you make and hopefully we can all learn something as well as enjoy ourselves.
My main interests personally are my relationship with God, my family, basketball, running, and enjoying the outdoors. My writings will revolve around those topics for the most part but don’t get too upset if I get off on a rabbit trail here and there. I teach and coach and am a strong believer that coaching is teaching.
Having been a former college athlete I am like thousands of others who got caught up in life and forgot to concentrate on staying in shape. While competing my body fat % was around 6%. Now it has slid to 20%! I am working to get it back down to 12% or below and I am hoping to run a marathon in the next 6-18 months. Many of these blogs will probably revolve around my training as I get back into the swing of things after having been out of competitive running for 12 years. I would assume that at least one blog per week will be my updated training information so follow along and laugh at me all you want! See you next time.
